Ocean Fisher

Fishermen is a term for people who act out daily to catch fish or other biota that alive on the bottom, column or surface of the water. The waters that become the area of argument of these fishermen can be fresh, brackish or sea water. In developing countries such as in Southeast Asia or in Africa, there are still many fishermen who use easy equipment in fishing. Fishermen in developed countries usually use militant equipment and large vessels equipped behind radical technology.

Eidman (1991) divides fishermen into two categories, namely cultivator fishermen and owner fishermen.
